How often should I have my door checked?
Our technicians recommend having your door checked by a specialist at least once a year to make sure it's operating safely and properly, and also to help prevent unexpected problems that may occur in the future. However, if you hear unusual noises or if the door falls heavily or bounces when it's lowered, we recommend giving our team a call. We'll have an experienced specialist check your door to prevent possible damage or breakage from occurring.
How do I choose the best replacement rollers?
We suggest that you focus on the stem size first of all - find out whether you need rollers with 2-inch or 4-inch stems. When it comes to material, nylon rollers are generally more durable and less noisy compared to metal ones so we recommend those.
Why is it a good idea to replace my old opener?
Older openers may not come with the same basic capacities as modern ones - for example, if they were manufactured prior to the 1993 regulations of UL 325, they may not be fitted with safety sensors and a reversal function, today deemed essential for a safe system.
